Learning about the news over breakfast
It's hard to find news podcasts these days that provide minimal bias to what is going on in the world. I dropped shows like Rachel Maddow and Pod Save America because I felt like there was too much emotional bias and incredulousness. These feelings are completely warranted, but I wanted a podcast that presents the facts of important matters without the liberal woes...I share those with my friends and family, not my news. The interviews are really interesting and unique. I also feel like I learn a lot! Keep it up!Read full review »

Michel was a great host on the run up and this is a great follow up to that podcast. I really think this is a good show and my only complaint is I wish it was an hour. Great reporting NYT!

Strong detail about one or two headlines. Not much breadth but one can read it they want variety.

Especially in these crazy times conversation is necessary--and podcasts are uniquely effective in facilitating that. I listen to this in the gym/ in the car/ in the morning. Love the background music.
