“Dr Gundry, I have been following the Plant Paradox program for 10 weeks. I started with the goal of eliminating psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis sores from my body, both of which I suffered with for over 15 years. 10 weeks in and both arthritis and sores are gone. I am so grateful and fully plan to continue the program to live a long and younger life! My question is regarding maple syrup. I live in Maine and we have many local sugar houses in our area that make some of the best maple syrup on the planet. I did not see maple syrup mentioned in either the Plant Paradox or the Plant Paradox cook book. I have splurged with maple syrup a couple of times while feasting on the delicious plantain pancakes. I have not noticed any side effects from consuming maple syrup however ask for your input on this subject. I just ordered a copy of Longevity Paradox and cannot wait to read it.
