Anemia
Fantastic fantastic fantastic!!! Jodi from Carbondale Colorado here, Two years ago I did the Candida diet for an entire year I never felt better.... The purpose of the diet was: I have had brutal psoriasis and eczema since I was a very small child.... along with irregular periods and I have a unique mediterranean blood condition called thalassemia minor. I wanted to do something for myself that would be a game changer because I watched a girlfriend of mine die at the age of 36 from stomach and colon cancer. Your plant paradox has got me inspired to go down this path again for life.... I had stopped because I got pregnant hence because the diet really encouraged my hormones to work so I got extremely hungry being pregnant and stopped the diet during that time.... now with a five-month-old baby my psoriasis and eczema is back and I am going to do something about it. Your podcast has given me the courage to make changes and your book is amazing. What fascinates me is that I never knew lectins were one of the main issues. I have been on your total restore now for three weeks and have lost 9 pounds. I feel definitely healing process happening now and along with the diet i’m sure I will even help that process accelerate! And I appreciate your knowledge and understanding of health but you put your knowledge and understanding into wisdom which means it requires action based on what you know. If someone is standing in the middle of a train track, knowledge tells you there’s a train coming, understanding is knowing that you will get hit if you don’t get out of the way but wisdom is the action of getting out of the way.... your inspirational plant paradox is like that example for someone who knows they have a problem understanding if they don’t change they can only get worse but you give them the tools to have the motivation to change -thank you thank you! My question for today, Since I am anemic however it’s a different kind of anemia. (Called thalassemia minor) with your plant paradox life style, what will help my body to not feel weak and light headed to keep my iorn levels high.... are used to eat meat and or beans three times a week.... any suggestions as to what I can use in my day to day routine?

Dr. Gundry, My wife and I have learned so much from your books and podcasts. We also recently completed the 30 Day Challenge! Results were positive and we are continuing on the program. One thing we need though is a way to get testing like APOE4, inflammation markers, Omega 3 and Omega 3...Read full review »

Love this podcast! I always come away with helpful and insightful dietary information. Question: I’ve been using nutritional yeast as a cheese substitute in scrambled eggs. Do you have an opinion on the health benefits, or lack of them, in consuming nutritional yeast?
