“2008 was for me the year I discovered podcasts and now my week is not complete without my ritual of loading up my iPhone with this week's offerings. As an avid film fan my obvious choices include Kermode/Mayo and Jason S. They make for a very complementary pair of bookends. Despite what others have said I find Jason to be witty, well informed both in film and popular culture and a very good interviewer. I come away informed and entertained from a well constructed and easy-to-listen-to podcast. Xan Brooks makes a very good foil in the film review section. Altogether an excellent podcast and worthy of its Guardian/Observer stable.”Read full review »

“The Observer has always been my favourite Sunday newspaper and I enjoy film podcasts so I had reasonably high hopes. Unfortunately I found the poscast to lack spirit and I found it not particular informative nor entertaining.”
