We are immersed in a culture that puts so much pressure and worth on what your body looks like, so it can be a really difficult journey to find peace and navigate times when your body is changing. There is a huge unrealistic expectation for women to look a certain way, and especially to ‘bounce back” after times of body change, but in this episode, you’ll learn specific ways you can keep a positive mindset and healthy relationship with your changing body. In today’s episode, I’m joined by my friend and colleague Kate Griege, a certified eating disorder specialist RD and outpatient dietitian at Wonderfully Made Nutrition Counseling, and we’ll be talking all about body image during pregnancy, “bounce back culture,” and navigating all the emotions and struggles that come with that. We’ll talk about expectations and pressures that women face during seasons of change and how we have overcome some of the hardships that come with body change during pregnancy.
