📣 These are my favorite takeaways! 📣 1: There are specific core drivers that shape how you show up in the world. You must continue to ask yourself are they true or do we need to revise them! 2: The key to performance is focus! The difference between an elite client vs a great client. The elite...Read full review »

One of the best podcasts on my list. So much knowledge packed into each session. Great going Shane. Eagerly wait for the new sessions!

It would be excellent at one hour per episode. Otherwise Parkinson's Law looms large. Also, a bit too desperately intellectual for my taste - as betrayed by the opening music - and not enough substance for the time investment. Most of the guests are great (writers) and the interviewer...Read full review »

Generaly , this podcast has interesting guests and quality content on decision making, mental models , habits etc. Repetitive violin riffs are intolerable. Sometimes host voice squawky and duck like.

I had never heard of Paul Assaiante, what an absolutely brilliant episode, I listened to it three times and bought Paul’s book… I just love it when a podcast episode completely blows your mind. I really like this podcast, the conversations, the guests, the wisdom being shared. So the recurring gender bias that high performers, CEOs, are all men just gets pretty annoying. I've noticed it from both the host and guests (both male and female guests) that when they're talking about...Read full review »

Yes that is three exclamation marks. Episode 60 is maybe the best podcast I have heard. For business. For personal. For life. He refers to: the Buddha; The Four Agreements; Radical Transparency; effective leadership; healthy relationships; death & grief. I added listening to this...Read full review »

Shane regularly speaks over the guests and tries to show off a bit. Yes, you’re smart too, but we’d rather hear from the guest, whose insights and stories are new, rather than from you, whose insights are repeated almost weekly. Please allow your guest to shine more, and share their knowledge.

I’ve been listening to TKP for a while now. True to its name, there’s so much we can learn from the people Shane speaks with, all of them from a wide variety of backgrounds. I can’t express enough how a truncated episode is a terrible model. Monetization is important, but if you truly understood customer experience you wouldn’t engage in a practice that is expressly designed to be psychologically manipulative. Be clear and straightforward: adds, or special members...Read full review »

Quality of the guests has decreased with time. Has also become much more commercial with a long prelude about all you are missing out by not subscribing and now cuts off the interview at the end if you are not a paid subscriber.

Giving useless advice completely disconnected from their privilege and subsequent lethargic minds and bodies. Advice such as just disconnecting and go to your lake house or farm. These people are truly evil and blind to their evil. Such is capitalism.

Marshall Goldsmith, while extremely self-satisfied, had an enormous amount of value to add. Unfortunately I could not play this episode in its entirety because the lipsmacking was so intense. I thought what he had to say was interesting but a lot of what he said didn’t quite seem right—Indians don’t read, only 6% women work etc. neither of these were true which made me question everything he said. I know he wants to prove a point but it’s more nuanced than he made it seem.
