“This man has helped change my life, might sound cheesy and yes, I’m a work in progress but it’s true, listening to Paul has really resonated with me and helped me so much. I found Paul on TikTok during lock down and thought his videos were extremely interesting and thought provoking. Following a difficult relationship breakup last year and some health issues, I found myself this year suddenly slip into a really negative dark space, I don’t mind admitting I started to feel really scared with how I was feeling and at a loss as what to do or where to turn, I saw no light at the end of the tunnel at one stage. From watching his videos, I found Paul’s voice and confidence really comforting and calming so, I thought I’d listen to his podcasts, I figured what did I have to lose? In particular, I selected a couple of the meditations ones which used some breathing exercises and immediately afterwards noticed i felt calmer, less panicky, my repetitive racing thoughts had slowed and I could think straight for the 1st time in ages, I cannot tell you the relief as my brain had been going at 100 miles an hour for months and I felt exhausted. ( I had done meditation before but nothing had been like this!) I then listened to Paul’s other podcasts, all utterly interesting and brilliant in there own right but, in particular the podcasts explaining about our ‘Dark Side’ ( as Paul calls it) and how detrimental it can be to us. I suddenly had an ‘a-ha’ moment, so much started to make sense, I wasn’t going mad after all ….plus, I now had a method to use to help me deal with my ‘dark side’ (aka my negative thoughts) which actually works - YES!!!! I now play Paul’s podcasts daily, I listen to them in the car to and from work ( not the meditation one’s of course ) It has become part of my daily routine and I really look forward to them, it’s like listening to a calm, supportive, wise friend and If I am having a down day they help me to re-focus. The Podcasts have helped me so much and for that, because I had been in such a dark place I will be forever grateful. 😌🙏🏻”
