A good listen about jail etc. He did get very harshly dealt with at sentence but also did take it to trial. No one’s offering me $300k loans , maybe because I’m. not a minster of the crown.

Have loved this podcast. What a terrible sentence for a white collar crime and we have terrible people out there getting away with murder! He was used as a scapegoat! I wish you all the best with your health issues.

This is a story of a man stuck in time.. He broke the law, and by his own admittance asked for and got a loan from a dubious avenue whilst in a position of power. He was made an example of to ensure others are deterred from doing the same, this sometimes happens and is in line with social...Read full review »

Started listening and not going to continue. The poor me poor me attitude of a privileged white politician is grating on me. Trying to justify his actions by wanting to buy his kids houses. I want to buy my kids houses too but I don’t have rich benefactors to “lend” me $300,000…so stop the...Read full review »

This podcast is one of the worst of heard. It doesn’t tell you the “facts” it sounds more like two mates talking about how one got screwed over by the system. Despite Nuttall knowing and admitting he totally did the wrong thing, he plays the poor man hard done by all the way through, both...Read full review »

Nuttall trying to change history Playing victim and the lies continue. Nuttall states if he was corrupt it would have been more than 300k and says thats why he is innocent. “ why would i buugerise around for 300k” Maybe its because 300k is what he received and not what he asked for ?

Very interesting to hear a another side of the story, uncontrolled by the media. Easy voices to listen to & episode good length.

I remember when this all went down and thought how unfair and unjust the system is when a white collar crime gets more for time than serious & heinous crimes. It was time for a scapegoat & the government had theirs for it was time to show they were tough on crime. The crime didn’t warrant...Read full review »

Gordon Nutsball has clearly been set up by the corrupt Peter Beattie. Good Podcast.

I was initially very interested to hear this story. However, I left disappointed because; - the interviewer skirts difficult questions and never has Nuttall uncomfortable which leaves me thinking he is one of Nuttal’s influential mates. - Nuttal is condescending and smug throughout the...Read full review »

Public servants need to be held to the highest account. This bloke has simply convinced himself of his lies. We all want to help our kids into homes…suggest that should be by legal means. How did this flog get a state Health portfolio in the first place? An A-grade, selfish and entitled oxygen...Read full review »

Not interesting, lost interest after 1 ep. A politician who used his position of power to enrich himself and his children! ‘An error of judgment’…it’s called corruption buddy.

This man may have had a harsh sentence but he comes across as very self pitying and unaware of his immense privilege in life. “I just wanted to buy my kids houses” don’t we all mate?

Not sure regarding guilt or innocence, but this is such an interesting listen. I think I could listen to Gordon wax lyrical for hours

Interesting story and do agree sentence was harsh, but do hope we get some balance here. Definitely a political agenda but feel Nuttal has no self reflection and downplaying the wrongdoings.
