First class podcasting from Michael who manages to knit together the personal journeys of his guests with dynamite information exchange and humour. It has been a god send during a soaking wet 2024 lambing season and I am looking forward to my creating my first rotational grazing block later this...Read full review »

Great show, a brilliant insight into multiple modern agri thinking coupled with what inspires continual improvement progressive thinkers. Even if you’re not looking for the technical agri fix, there’s a lot to be taken on a leadership and well-being front. Keep up the good work.

Great podcast with quirky/clever humour and a lot of great information. It’s certainly made me think more about my farming disease and ways to ease my symptoms.

The podcast that has it all….. if you like grazing. A mix of hilarious oddball humour and genuinely interesting, personal interviews with some fascinating people. 5 stars ⭐️

This is brilliant - Michael has a knack of tapping into some excellent knowledge from his guests, every episode delivers fresh insights (which I am continually implementing on our farm) and it is always highly entertaining - essential listening. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to all episodes, thank you. Anywaaayy, I’ve a picture in my mind of a talking rye grass plant these days and it’s a bit of an animal (bit like the peperami)

I love this podcast, brilliant technical farming information mixed with interesting life stories a surprisingly good interview technique and terrible (but funny) jokes!

I’ve been following Michael since the third episode and thought it high time I got around to a review. Brilliant interview style. I learn something every episode. Grazed grass grows grass! Probably be buying Exlana sheep next. Keep it coming Michael

Uplifting thoughtful and insightful chat with some really interesting people who happen to do some farming stuff. Mo is the clear star of the show, Michael’s theme tunes are woefully bad (good), can’t wait for the next one……

Mike’s style of interview and his established relationships with many of the interviewees leads to both revealing personal and “pasture” insights combined with excellent “profit nuggets”. This has gotten me more “pumped up” about pasture. Would be delighted if there were more “Pasture...Read full review »

Really enjoyable, most informative but also very amusing and easy to listen to. Would agree with another reviewer that a little more volume would be helpful

I love your pod cast , it’s very interesting to me as a farmer, however when I’m listening to it I’m usually driving a tractor so it’s noisy , could you make it louder? I’m not old old and deaf

I love the conversations with farmers and farming experts and a real highlight is the conversation with Mo the dog, especially the jokes !

That second interview was interesting a lot of that is what we do here in New Zealand with the pasture mixes and things rotational grazing and and it was interesting to hear what he had to say about Colin

Good to have you back for series 2. Got concerned after listening to the DMC at the end of series 1. Love your interview style. Getting much deeper and they have a much more sincere feel to it than R&R Farming. Writing this review simply because of the Outro music with Rhys about Climate...Read full review »

I have listened to all episodes over the last summer and have enjoyed every second (including maybe 70% of the theme tunes!!). The style of the interviews is perfectly balanced, Michael poses tough but entirely relevant questions amongst the top banter and serious livestock/pasture chat. Lots...Read full review »

Great podcast for the seasoned farmer or a complete novice like me trying to understand pasture and how to farm well. Funny and insightful with pearls of wisdom. No comment on the theme tunes. Keep up the good work!

Such an interesting, stimulating and funny of cast. All about grass, grazing, farmers and life stories. No better way to spend a long drive than in the company of The Pasture Pod.

Really enjoying this podcast Michael. Great to listen to progressive farmers talking in detail about what makes them tick. Please keep them coming. Just work harder at the theme tune!

I don’t even have any need to listen to a podcast about pasture but I love listening to Michael Blanche interviewing his guests. With a style that’s a mix of Michael Aspel and Columbo he gently probes and quizzes his guests while feigning innocence and disbelief, but he knows what’s going on and...Read full review »

I’m beginning to suspect a conspiracy. It seems that the best advice each of Michael’s guest interviewees has ever received has been “to listen”. Use your two ears and your one mouth in that ratio, as one guest put it. Coincidence or conspiracy, when Michael has a podcast to promote....?? You...Read full review »

I'm a grass farmer in New York State, so I find myself having to convert metric to Imperial units in my head as the show ticks along. I love your podcast! I am a pretty new at livestock farming still but I have learned so much from the interviews with people working at the cutting edge of modern rotational grazing. This is passive learning at its best. There is more to learn here than just grass and it’s management.
