Devin Dabney episode >> profound insight
The Devin Dabney interview is another beautiful opportunity to bust out of the crusty one-size-fits-all story of climbing. Got tremendous insight from the honest discussion of what it feels like when you've carved out a (precarious) spot for yourself as an Other in a space dominated by those in a higher social class. Womens' experience of this dynamic is commonly seen as the trope of the queen bee who jealously guards her masters'-favorite-dog high perch against other women. Dabney's description brought depth and nuance to this phenomena I hadn't considered. Thank you!Read full review »

Kris takes on interesting questions that are out of the norm for some of the other climbing podcasts out there. He finds unique outlooks on topics that keep things interesting. He always brings in the best folks for interviews as well, finding people with really great outlooks on the sport.
