I enjoy this podcast way more than I expected to!
Full disclosure: I dated one of the hosts (Nate) for quite a few years. His brain never turns off from thinking about climbing training and mine does. I honestly believed I could not handle listening to a podcast about just that but Kris and Nate are killing it with this. Rather than going into specifics, numbers, and minute details, Kris keeps things at a pretty generalized level. This means that we can listen for ideas about techniques, tools, theories, etc and then apply them to our own training as applicable. I don't care how many reps and sets and how much weight a person uses for training; just give me the foundation and reasoning for WHY something should be done and I'll incorporate away! This is exactly how this podcast comes across to me, which I appreciate. Also, make sure you listen to the seemingly random episodes. The Miguel's interview is one of my faves! Keep it up, guys.Read full review »

There isn't a better climbing podcast out there right now for people who are interested in climbing and training. The board room episodes are especially helpful in giving practical information to help us all be a little better. Keep up the training information and the helpful programming info!Read full review »
