“I recently listened to the Finding Yourself podcast. Wow. I have been going through a tough time lately trying to figure out what I want from life. I’m currently a teacher but really don’t like it. I didn’t allow myself to think that I could change it because of what family would say, finances and general other notions society tell us. This led me to feeling ‘trapped’ and having such a negative outlook on everything else in my life ( my life is actually great, but this one thing has put such a dark cloud over everything that I began to believe that everything in my life wasn’t good). I knew that a decision had to be made but really didn’t know where to begin. I decided to take a ‘mental health’ day from work and listened to this podcast on the way to my happy place (the beach) and it was incredible. Everything Sinead said resonated so much to the point where I could genuinely believe that she was talking directly to me! It made me think about some really important questions and helped me begin to realise that If I’m not happy I can change it and also that is ok if your purpose in life isn’t what you thought it was. I have a few big decisions to make but now have the confidence that it’s ok to make those changes. Honestly everyone needs to listen to this!”
