Such a fantastic subject, but unlistenable because of the over the top gushing of the narrator and his beating us over the head with HIS feelings about Wonder.

My favorite too, Wesley! Thank you for all of this.

Great music and guests, host is a bit over the top though.

The narrator’s style is so over-the-top that I can’t listen to it. He needs to dial it way down.

I’m guessing the majority of people who would subscribe to this are already fans of Stevie Wonder. I certainly am and when I heard this would be a deep dive into this prolific period of his incredible career, I was eager to listen. And that’s when I learned Wesley Morris was the host and narrator...Read full review »

Thank you for this show. When I saw Mr. Wonder at the DNC I was curious why there was no biopic or memoir. This is great medicine for the soul. The music is timeless.

You know what? I am also a huge Stevie Wonder fan, but I’m not gonna make a podcast about my love of Stevie Wonder because I don’t think anybody cares what I think about Stevie Wonder. And I do not care what this guy thinks about Stevie Wonder. Absolutely horrible. One of the worst podcasts I...Read full review »

I loved everything about this. As I’ve grown from a young adult, I’ve taken on the journey of discovering the works and life of Stevie and this did nothing but support my finds of him being the greatest.

What a gorgeously-told epic tale! I BINGED this. Thank you for making it so personal. This was beautiful and perfect. Wesley you were, in fact, the perfect person to tell this story ✨ What a joy!

This podcast had me going home literally dusting off my Songs in the Key of Life album. Thank you for the opportunity to reminisce and for also providing me with some information I didn’t know about our national treasure Steveland Morris aka Stevie Wonder!

[ignore my 1st ham-fisted attempt at typing this] I only discovered this podcast about a day ago, and was pleased to hear Wesley’s voice again after several months’ absence of “Still Processing”. As it happened the discovery came in the midst of my listening to the five albums nearly non-stop...Read full review »

The best thing I can say about this podcast is how beautifully it takes music I have heard and loved throughout the entirety of my life and makes it all sound so new that it is like getting the experience with new ears. It made me revisit Fullfillingness’ First Finale while reconfirming my love...Read full review »

Stevie's music was the soundtrack of my childhood-and my own savior in many ways. The chance to revisit this music through such a deep and thorough analysis and personal reflections of others is a gift. Wes Morris's breakdown of Fulfillingness's First Finale just completely blew my...Read full review »

One of th best music podcasts I’ve heard. Wesley Morris does an incredible job taking us through Stevie Wonder’s “streak” in the early 70’s. Love the Obama interviews!

First, I missed Wesley Morris since Still Processing ended. Glad to hear his voice and regain his cultural insights. Second, I was weary from all the political podcasts but didn’t want to go straight music on my morning walks. This podcast is a perfect blend. And finally, but most importantly,...Read full review »

I’m so enjoying listening to this podcast. Stevie Wonder’s music was on our radios in Australasia in the 70s and 80s. Fresh, breezy, joyful sounds. Notes tattooed into our memories, so we’ll be moving to his songs to the end of our days. Thanks for this deep dive into his genius and musicianship.

I love Stevie and have for over 50 years. These albums are the soundtrack of my early childhood, so I was going to nerd out and listen even before I knew who was narrating. But I also love Wesley Morris and am THRILLED he is piloting this rocket ship. Can I give 10 stars?

Wesley Morris, chef’s kiss. This podcast is exactly what I needed, what we all need, in this existential moment in our nation and geopolitically. No one could tell the story of living legend Stevie Wonder the way you have, and I am so grateful for it. Plus, you featured my all-time favorite song,...Read full review »

Wow. This is the most thorough exploration of a great artist’s creative peak I’ve yet heard on a podcast. And the story of Stevie Wonder’s five-album march to icon is well told by a man, who in his profession, is equally decorated. Wesley Morris is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner for criticism,...Read full review »

This show is both fun and informative. I learned so much and the interviews are really great: President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Questlove, and so many more.
