I am grateful for this platform as it offers a wonderful mix of topics that I may not have sought out, but have thoroughly enjoy all the guest speakers. I Highly recommend the book “Secure Relating” by the host!

Disturbing when ideology is so central. The psyche is beyond ideology

I really enjoy this podcast. Just when i think i know it all - i click on another podcast and learn something new. I’ve listened to so many of them and there’s always lively conversation. They seem to really strive to make the information easy to understand and current!

I have listened to a few episodes at this point and just listened to the third on the hosts’ book. It felt like a collage of reduced versions of other people’s wisdom, except that these two don’t understand any of it with the depth of lived experience. The older episodes I heard were great, but...Read full review »

Another really good podcast has sold out and is doing ridiculous, useless ads. Stop with all the nonsense and get back to the great content.

Found TU recently and wish I’d had known of it before! I’m a group practice owner and we seek to incorporate more and more social justice work into our practices. The recent decolonizing therapy content just exceptional and beautiful! Great interviews. A boon to my own practice.

Wow, this episode was incredibly unskillful. It completely centered the therapist and their political beliefs and not the client who may be in a trauma state. In addition, it demonized and marginalized a group of people— again based on the podcasters own bias. Will not listen again or recommend....Read full review »

I quite enjoyed this series and the variety of clinicians and providers. The most recent episode however delved into bringing radical politics into the treatment room and moved away from patient-centric treatments. There also seemed to be a complete lack of empathy or desire to treat individuals...Read full review »

Some very useful content. There are some episodes that feel very wishy washy and fluffy. When everyone talks at once it can be irritating.

I tried, I’m lost, I hope they find a specialist; zocdoc, 1skin, whatever? Yes, I’m cynical, but wow the epitome of white women from LA who moved to Sedona. The way I describe this podcast to others is in one episode of this podcast, I feel I learn more then any day of a training I’ve been too. My favorite episodes are the ones where it’s just Sue and Ann having their own discussion on a specific topic. I rarely write reviews but this podcast needed one. I have been in and out of therapy for three years now. I tend to go all in and be extreme and then I fall off and then I spiral.
