This is my Bourbon Weekend has come and gone, y'all, and we couldn't have had a better time celebrating it together. All y'all that joined us for it made it such a truly special time and we couldn't have asked for much more in any possible way. We were so thankful to capture such a small part of it, though, and at the end of a long Friday, we sat together, saddled up the microphones, and we reviewed the newest batches of Elijah Craig and Larceny Barrel Proof. That's right, B524 is here, and...

We've got yet another new product coming our way from the illustrious Jim Beam Distillery, folks, and this time around, it's a rye whiskey. This rye is a part of the Overholt line, replicating the mash bill made famous by the Monongahela style in Pennsylvania and eventually acquired along with the Overholt brand by Beam. We also take a look at the available Overholt products on the market in a flight lineup to see how the Monongahela measures up to its siblings. Enjoy. TIMBP...

Did you know there's a brand new edition of the widely beloved Jim Beam Black on the market? Well, we didn't until recently, and we figured it was time to give it a review and put it through the TIMBP paces, dear listener. So, we did just that, and then even put it up against the Beam Black of yesteryear to decide if things have changed for the better or if this new release was better left in the dreams of bourbon drinkers of tomorrow. There's a lot to be said about the Stagg (formerly Jr.) brand: it's bold; it's brash; it's full-bodied; it's legendary. BUT, in yet another This is my Bourbon Podcast turn of insanity, we have NEVER reviewed one. No, not George T Stagg, the bigger, badder brother of Stagg. We're talking Baby Stagg. This week, Eric and Perry (hello that's me again) get into two of the three releases from 2023 and talk about the ongoing legacy and love of Stagg amongst bourbon drinkers. They also drink on...

We spend a lot of time talking about the bourbons that made us fans of the spirit in the first place. Two of these products are bottled as Buffalo Trace's flagship bourbon and their slightly older and more...

In celebration of those who are partaking (or aren't, I guess) in a first-of-the-year tradition known as "Dry January," we take some time this week to see what life would be like it our wills weren't as strong but our persuasions were true.
