“I was just diagnosed with ADHD, mostly inattentive type, TODAY!! I have struggled with figuring out my mental health since my second child, my son, was born nearly three years ago. I was diagnosed with PPD and anxiety, but it never quite fit the bill. I have pushed myself beyond what I thought I could handle to demand to be taken seriously by medical and mental health professionals. I can finally scream at the top of my lungs, “I HAVE ADHD!!!”. My entire life makes sense now and I can’t wait to start working on myself through the lens of someone with ADHD rather than trying to force myself to be neuro-typical. Thank you so, SO much for putting out this podcast. It has genuinely brought some peace back to my life to hear other women speak about their experiences with ADHD.
