Immediate Validation
I was just diagnosed with ADHD, mostly inattentive type, TODAY!! I have struggled with figuring out my mental health since my second child, my son, was born nearly three years ago. I was diagnosed with PPD and anxiety, but it never quite fit the bill. I have pushed myself beyond what I thought I could handle to demand to be taken seriously by medical and mental health professionals. I can finally scream at the top of my lungs, “I HAVE ADHD!!!”. My entire life makes sense now and I can’t wait to start working on myself through the lens of someone with ADHD rather than trying to force myself to be neuro-typical. Thank you so, SO much for putting out this podcast. It has genuinely brought some peace back to my life to hear other women speak about their experiences with ADHD. Catherine Field of San Diego, CA
