All depends on the quality of the guest. If the guest is good, Marc is good. Far too often some obscure actor or actress Marc worked with is booked and so goes the podcast. Too many boring guests have killed this podcast. Used to be a must listen, now I just occasionally check it. All things fade...

Marc - your comments and feelings about this horrible election hit home with me. (Depression, Insomnia, confusion and RAGE - you understand better than anyone.) Thank you, thank you. We will survive. The interview with Robby Hoffman is wonderful = raised my spirits. I highly recommend...Read full review »

In the very beginning Marc was a trail blazer in podcasting now it’s DNC talking points and woke comedy

Love to here Marc and his fragile spirit, this is what’s wrong with a lot of people nowadays.

Marc is most funny when he is being serious.

This is a terrible podcast. I can’t and won’t listen to someone who is more impressed with themselves than the conversation or a person who’s being interviewed. Not for me.

This was so funny! He said this was a Fascinating experience. You got him to say stuff he’s never said. Great interview

What a refreshing interview which was more like a conversation between like minded friends. It was great to hear both of them listening to each other & engaging so well.

Alex, before you agree to be on the podcast to promote your book sample a couple of shows to hear all of Marc’s “ Yeah” and the interruptions while guest attempts to speak.

Marc definitely earned his "stripes" over the years and it culminated in an absolutely terrific conversation with Al Pacino. Not an interview, no fan gushing, but 2 bright, intelligent men discussing a life that had many ups and many downs. I've never heard Mr. Pacino so relaxed and...Read full review »

I used to like Maron but his brain has been broken. Not interested in his half-witted political takes. Been a listener for over 6 years and just can’t take him anymore.

Marc Rules! One of my favorite podcasts and he ends his interviews jamming on his guitar!

How did you put it? The mental stuff in our heads makes us more interesting than 90% of the people? I work hard on it—maybe I’m only more interesting than 80% now. Good talk and I’m enjoying the interview with Connie Chung.

Mister Maron, thanks for so many years of hosting a great show and making me laugh. Your comedy and books and podcast have gotten me through some real hard times. Sincerely, Cody Taylor.

This has been and will be the one and only podcast for me . Thanks Marc Maron ! I’ve been through many life situations with your podcast episodes, and they’ve always helped me in many ways. Mainly while going through grieving and depression. Didn’t need to find help, just listened to your...Read full review »

She’s fascinating. I loved the interview it could have gone on for much longer. She’s a deeply interesting person.

Couldn’t listen to the Chris Robinson chat. It’s typical Marc going “yeah yeah yeah” talking all over his guest who is actually more interesting than Marc. Hey Marc, try being quiet for 10 seconds!

Ever get to talk about her book? I know she tried to a few times. I gave up.

Never thought I’d see someone more narcissistic than Trump, but Maron is it. Jeez, what a terrible interviewer. Ask the guest a good question then LET THEM TALK and stop pulling the conversation back to yourself. I have subscribed to this podcast for years, but the deterioration is accelerating....Read full review »

Sometimes I wonder how can someone be so open? I think most people can benefit by learning to be open and caring.

I love this podcast, and I know he doesn’t mean to be less than respectful when referring to older guests or discussing an older person. Marc will say or ask if a person is “lucid” as if it’s an amazing and wonderful thing that an older person continues to be lucid. He uses the word in that...Read full review »
