“I love history and hold the opinion that if you don't learn from it you are bound to repeat it (not my original idea of course). So when I was looking for a good podcast for my long runs as I train (rather than wasting my time listening to music) this podcast came up and I have it a shot. I actually didn't start with the first one. Just wanted to get a flavor. And ...I got hooked. Its a phenomenal opportunity to refresh my memory and learn a few new tidbits. Carl is such a knowledgeable source and a great presenter that the miles I ran pass by without note. The fact that I can listen to a few without needing to touch the phone is perfect. I love it and recommends while heartedly. AND, also, since this seems to be a labor of love, if you like it go and donate at Carl's site.
