Just listened to my first episode and I cried! I wish I had this around when I gave birth. Kate, this is the most honest and raw description of birth and the first few weeks. It makes me so sad to see this ‘influencers’ talking about how easy it all is and how they’ve nailed their bedtime routine...Read full review »

I really enjoyed this podcast when it first came out - but I feel like now it’s a bit repetitive. I know that it’s Kate’s podcast but I find a lot of the time it’s Kate talking about Kate and how Kate feels. I find her hard to relate to as a step parent because of the privilege she has, I...Read full review »

I’ve listened to quite a few episodes over the last week and every single one has made me smile and reflect on what a lovely person Kate comes across as. Some really hard-hitting topics but discussed in a safe and supportive environment. Keep it up Kate!!

Surprised at Kate’s success with this …In a good way. It’s delivered more than I was expecting. Ive found it really helpful as I am in a blended family too with lots of complicated dynamics. Kate is vulnerable too and it really helps to hear that this journey isnt always easy.

Wow what an emotional listen. I was in the gym holding back the tears. What an amazing lady Alex is. From a 45 year old woman who’s parents split up when I was 9… I CANNOT describe the love I have for my stepparents. My stepdad and also my step mum dont have kids of their own but I know they see...Read full review »

Kate thank you for this. I became a step mum at 19 back in 2011. Thankfully we don’t have the grief aspect involved, instead we have the co parenting, which at times I really really struggle with. These podcasts are my go to listen now. Keep doing what you’re doing Kate ❤️

I think Kate forgets the privilege she has in comparison to the ‘normal’ parents, step parents she is trying to preach to.

I am not part of a blended family but still find this podcast so interesting and helpful. Also given me even more respect to my sister in law who has become “step-mum” to my nephew. Kate you are an inspiration to not only “step-mums” but in my opinion ALL Mums x

The latest episode was really helpful! It’s my 16th year this year of being a step mum. Two now big challenging, kind, funny boys.
