The Bible meets Game of Thrones
This podcast is excellent to say the least, the hosts go into great details about the political machinations and maneuvers that the Bible doesn't go into, but they especially dive deep into the details that ARE present in the Bible. They also go into the historical evidence where they get their information (Jocephus, Heroditus, Tacitus, inscriptions, steles etc.) and show why the evidence does in fact support the biblical story as detailed by the star of the show, the "Deuteronomist."Read full review »

If you’re looking for a better understanding of the historical context of the Old Testament (the Books of Kings in particular, obviously) you won’t find a better podcast. My go to podcast. Informative, well-researched and entertaining. My only complaint is there should be more episodes and I hope they do Chronicles and maybe Acts at some point. Top-notch!
