Insightful and Fun!
I just caught up with all the episodes and I've recommended it to friends/family who are into nutrition and exercise -- the hosts give loads of helpful advice that will strike a chord with anyone, whether you need to lose 5 or 50 pounds or just want some new insights into the world of weight loss. Blythe and Ray make a great match bouncing ideas off each other and always seem upbeat and friendly. Their tough love approach -- get over making excuses and believing you'll fail and start getting active -- is refreshing and motivating. They seem to want to keep the lengths of the episodes down but I thought they all flew by pretty quickly. I was particularly interested in the discussions on the psychological factors at work when it comes to eating and exercising right. I've always been in the "skinny fat" category and really had no idea how hopeless some of my old routines were until they were explained in the podcast (i.e. eating two donuts in the morning and fasting until 4:00 or 5:00 in the afternoon, not such a great idea!) The conversational tone of the show is great, and I'd love to hear some interviews in the future. Thanks, guys, keep it up!Read full review »

The episode number 9 discussing the calorie theory was amazing. I have always suspected that I put on more weight when I eat carbs even though the calories are the same. A great podcast.Read full review »
