I just started listening to this, and already I’m engrossed in the narratives. I used to only listen to Real Dictators, but now I where to find another great podcast on dictators. Great job, keep it up!

It takes around 5-6 minutes to actually get into new info. The first bit is repetitive announcements that are present in every episode, basic prep, and a couple ads. Then you have 2 more ad breaks and the last 2-3 minutes is useless foreshadowing that is going to be talked about in the next...Read full review »

Use to be a great podcast and actually learned something about history. Unfortunately, now politics have taken over like everything else. You can distinctly hear the sharp left turn. Will be unsubscribing.

Sad to say, I enjoyed this podcast for awhile. Then, I heard the one on the young turks. The narrator refers to them as far right which is irrefutably false. They were leftists and believed in the far left ideology of using social revolution to install radical tyrants. They do so while claiming...Read full review »

Wonderful podcast full of exceptionally delivered history. Both need to understand how the word ‘myriad’ works. Hint: It’s an uncountable number. But, gonna say goodbye to a stellar podcast. May Spotify bring you joy!

Disappointed you are loving to Spotify only. I won’t be joining.

Good series with interesting content but let down by narration which sounds synthesised/automated.

Calling Ukraine a “Russian countryside”? Really? Go back to school and learn some history! 🤬

One of my favourite podcast channels and I learned a lot from it…really wish it didn’t move exclusively to Spotify

Every two sentences they swap speakers. Why? It’s difficult to listen to and difficult to record I imagine. Great info but I can’t listen to for long without getting a headache. Or maybe anxiety too. I saw one comment that the constant switching of speakers triggers anxiety by those who have ADHD...Read full review »

“Make the Ottoman Empire great again” is what they said. I wonder why? This is a leftist teaching tool.

I like the content is really good but now parcast I forcing people to have a account with Spotify that’s 10 dollars a month and still have ads. I don’t like having 2 apps to listening what I like so I’m out

Camilo Cienfuegos was neither Marxist nor communist. He was the most honest patriot of the XX Cuban century and that led him to death.

extremely informative and interesting, easy to listen to and an in depth look at the psyche of these despicable people

Went from really good show about dictators to Fidel Castro wasn’t so bad, he taught kids to read and we should thank Ho Chi Minh. I feel like I’m in one of Ho’s re-education camps.

Nothing like a podcast trying to turn a brutal Communist thug into a sympathetic figure who we should respect and be thankful for. Are u kidding?! Ho achieved independence for Vietnam? I’m not sure a Communist dictatorship and independence are the same thing. I’d say we should ask the...Read full review »

I like the idea of this show but I have 2 critiques. One, the biographies are a bit too basic. Two, it doesn’t engage with leftist critiques of figures like Stalin and Mao. For instance Orwell was a socialist who was a prolific critique of totalitarian ideologies.

Fun and engaging podcast. The stories are rich and entertaining. Richard and Kate are great. Though I dislike the back/forth narration in other parcast shows, it works with these two for me. Here’s to many more shows!

I like all of your shows!! I'm from Romania, and I would like to see an episode about Nicolae Ceausescu ! It’s a Romanian dictator who died in 89 . I’ll bet it will be a great story to tell !Read full review »

I just listened to the first Lenin. I loved it. Russian history is “rich” and very interesting. Thanks and am looking forward to part 2. Great voices too

The people were protesting, the country was open, foreign journalists were available, the media was not fully controlled. Just a strongman, not a dictator. Left wing dictators are way more... dictators.

Really like the podcast but the presenters have zero personality. Really robotic delivery, seems like it’s just software reading the text.

Really enjoying the stories. But, why do people in the US consider that North America is just the US? Arrogant and ignorant. North America includes both Canada and Mexico. Makes me wonder what other “facts” are wrong.

The male host and female host take turns emotionlessly reading every sentence. So one sentence is mechanically read by the man. The next sentence is read by the women. The next by the man. Then the next by the woman. The awkward arhythmic sing-song effect this gives is utterly distracting. If...Read full review »

You talk about how there is no modern politician like hitler and then compare the deep state problem with nationalist accusation of the Jews. I’ve grown tired of the parcast show hosts and format. Don’t like the robotic voices of hosts. The segment breaks that are supposed to build tension and keep interest feel strange and sometimes forced.

On this podcast and the Kingpin podcast, America is the bad guy. It is because of America that bad people rape, torture, and kill. That is not the case. People are responsible for their own actions. America is not perfect, but we try to help other people and other nations. That is a lot more than...Read full review »

Informative and entertaining podcast laid out in two part series that are just the right length to provide context and tell a story while engaging enough to keep the listener from losing interest. Looking forward to hearing one about Napoleon!
