Thank you!
Thank you for a lovely podcast! I appreciate so much what you do. Also a question. What about people who have a great relationship with food and exercise by practicing intuitive eating and are still in fat bodies and suffering with the comorbidities associated with o-slur? I feel like this is a perspective/phenomenon not explored. It’s wonderful to be body positive and focus on intuitive eating and joyful movement but what about the life expectancy reduction for people with clinical o-slur? I’ve studied quite a bit the theories that weight cycling, genetics, psych meds etc can increase the body’s defended fat mass and increase risk for disease. That factors outside our control can change fat people’s hunger and satiety signals to maintain this higher weight. How does an intuitive eating only approach fit in with this theory or does it at all?
