Cardio and Cortisol episode
I have listened to several fit body, Happy joints podcasts. They are so interesting and helpful. The episodes about cardio and cortisol I found the most helpful for myself. I was definitely a cardio bunny and felt like the more the better. Dr. Shannon gave a detailed breakdown of why this isn’t better and how it can negatively affect our bodies. I also liked how she went into more detail in the cortisol episode describing how cortisol plays a key role in muscle building or hindering, and how to keep our levels in check! She is very informative and knows her stuff! If you are looking for a smarter and better way to workout and not stress yourself out, listen and follow her. She is awesome!

As a physician myself, I appreciate hearing quality evidence presented....Read full review »

She tells us the truth about what our bodies need and what they want to function properly. It sounds so simple, yet we’ve all been in denial for a...Read full review »
