Finally someone’s talking about this!
I found Dr Shannon on Instagram and was immediately attracted to what she was saying about doing exercises that protect your joints. The last 10 years of my fitness journey has been a continuous loop of me getting hurt when working out or playing sports, and being told it’s because I’m lacking strength and should exercise more. I’ve always felt like there had to be a way to work out to help my body instead of destroying it but no one else seemed to be talking about it. Seeing/hearing what Dr Shannon posts on IG and her podcast has given me validation that I wasn’t crazy and, more importantly, that there is a better way to do this. I also like how the podcasts are generally pretty short, so I can listen while I’m getting ready in the morning.

I appreciate that Dr Shannon believes that joint health comes 1st rather than focusing on an exercise that is uncomfortable. This is what I’ve been looking for after ending my membership with Pure Barre. I really enjoyed PB because it was easy on my joints, specifically my knee and ankle with...Read full review »
