Evidence-Based and So Great!
I am a health care provider, working mom, and work out at home. I found Shannon’s workouts on Instagram and immediately was excited to see that someone in the fitness industry understands how to safely and effectively deliver quality evidence-based workouts that work for my unique body. She is education focused and that shows in her podcasts too. Everyone needs to hear the “More is not better” episode. I tell it to everyone single one of my patients every day and the message needs to be heard! Chronic pain, as she explains, is not worth it and shouldn’t be the norm. I couldn’t agree more with her that slow and steady wins the race and that embracing recovery is essential to our bodies in the long term. Shannon is a myth buster in this episode and I’m cheering her on!
