Changed my life for the better
After hearing the recent episode where Juna and Eddie shared what lifestyle changes they’ve made using the knowledge they gained from making the podcast, I thought it’d be fun to leave a review doing the same! This podcast inspired me to: - Get over my fear of the gym and start strength training - Do cardio training more often (went from 1x a week to 3-4x) and actually see improvements - Cut down on supplements and processed foods in general, and eat more ‘real’ food - Drink less caffeine in the afternoon, my sleep schedule is so much better now - Stop caring so much about the number on the scale and focus more on feeling fit and healthy These were all changes I made specifically from listening to this podcast. It’s an awesome resource and so fun to listen to also- it’s one of the few I have on auto-download! A definite must-listen for those who are interested in health, nutrition, and improving their lifestyle!

More reviews of Food, We Need To Talk
Maybe this podcast is targeted for high schoolers, but the host’s personal seemingly new journey with food are is not illuminating for those already familiar with Michael Pollan or Michael Moss. Nutrition Science and Food Politics was not insightful. I’d suggest an audiobook.

Why? How can what sounds like an intelligent girl the word “like” be used in every thought she has? Listening is irritating to hear a filler word every time she opens her mouth.

I listened to the first podcast as I work to recover from disordered eating and thought by the description this would be a good fit as the host also experienced something similar. Imagine my surprise when I open the podcast and get an ad for a diet program instead. What a joke.
