I really wanted to like it
I wanted to like this podcast, but it was just... off. First, talking about how people are constantly on diets and acting like she wants to break diet culture, but then going on and on about wanting to be smaller and lose weight and be a size four and how that’s so important to her. PLUS having a noom sponsorship, who’s advertisements I’ve seen say “the new millennial diet”. It’s contradicting. Second, some of the dialog in the first episode was odd. Randomly interviewing people, random in between noises to transition. I feel like that works fine for a YouTube video, but not as well for a podcast.

This may be a fine podcast, but I cannot abide listening to people speak who use the word “like” constantly. I have listened to two episodes and have learned nothing except how annoying it is to listen to people with limited vocabularies.

I’m not too sure about this podcast yet. It doesn’t seem to be really digging in to anything new or unheard of. I’ll keep listening for as long as I can tolerate.
