Don’t like the sponsors, content not appropriate for people with eating disorders/disordered eating
I really wanted to like this show, but it seems a bit behind in terms of the current public health/food psychology literature. Too much focus on obesity and healthy foods and less focus in mindful eating, social determinants of health, etc. Also, as others have pointed out, Noom (the sponsor) is a dieting app, so not appropriate for the show. I wish the show covered more information about intuitive eating, health at every size, etc.

More reviews of Food, We Need To Talk
This podcast tackles the issue of diets in the most funny and down-to-earth way. Host Juna Gjata is bubbly and a joy to listen to, and Dr. Eddie Phillips is extremely knowledgeable and gives amazing tips. Highly recommend for anyone, even if you’re not normally into dieting or nutrition

So far, it is okay. I’m not sure I have learned a lot but doesn’t hurt to brush up. I’m walking when I listen to it. Thing that I wish wasn’t happening is June being too juvenile. I want it to be interesting and fun but she is over the top and I feel like it’s wasting important time.

This is a great podcast—short episodes, fun, and informative. I like the conversational tone and the info is on-point.
