“I really like the idea of this podcast, as I consider myself a foodie and drink enthusiast, but oh my! Where to begin?
-There is far too much over-the-top, fake giggling and airy chortles
-The entire podcast is drenched with cynicism, sarcasm (which is always painfully pointed out), and an overly-feministic revisionist look at history. We get it! Things were screwed up in the 1980's and earlier. We don't need constant reminders of "Oh, God forbid a women do this, etc."
-It is poorly edited. The jump cuts ruin the flow of conversation and substance.
Like I said, I really like the idea of this podcast, and I really want to like it, but it's just bad bad bad right now. I've subscribed to and deleted this podcast about three times now because I keep hoping it's gotten better. If anything, it's getting worse. This podcast has great potential, especially in an Age of Enlightenment in the gourmet food and craft beverage industries. You both have very pleasant voices and you are both very intelligent. Just cut out the ridiculousness, and you have yourselves a great podcast.”Read full review »
