Recently discovered this podcast after it was referenced on another. What a delight, a treasure trove of guests gently guided by Simon. Story telling at its finest.

Every episode is brilliant! Genuine friendship and respect between Simon and what seems to be every amazing chef in the country! As it’s a chat between mates, us listeners get to hear the very best and honest stories as they are clearly relaxed. Fascinating to hear all the back stories filled...Read full review »

This is a really interesting podcast, I love hearing the back stories of all the chefs we know from the telly. The only problem is the audio quality. They really need to look at getting the guests to record their own audio and not rely on the zoom recording. The Richard corrigan interview is...Read full review »

I’ve been in the catering industry since I was 16 and I’ve learned so much but listening to what Micheal gets out of our industry still makes me proud to be In it and doing what I love! He is a true giant and the roux family are icons and deserve some sort of hall of fame for what they have done!!!

Truly a must for any food lover. You get to listen to the passion for the industry and for the food which makes up an enormous part of it. Shared passion and hard work sings out from Simon’s conversations with Chef’s who open up and reflect on how they arrived and where they want to go next on personal and professional level, that would not be achieved on any other podcast

This has become my favourite podcast. Simple as that. Simon easily gets into discussions that other podcasts don’t get to with empathy and ease. Simon comes over as Genuine, caring and interested in the guests who are all Stella choices. 10/10 for me

Listening to Tom Kerridge and Ainsley Harrison talking about the wonderful early days where they felt immediately at home in this environment was truly uplifting. Their energy and enthusiasm...Read full review »

I’m not particularly a ‘foodie’ but have loved the two episodes I’ve listened to so far - Tom Kerridge & Rick Stein. Simon has a real warmth when interviewing and the enthusiasm and love of food between the chefs really comes across - to the point where I felt like I was eavesdropping on...Read full review »

Loving this podcast. Simon is a great interview (as we already know) and I’ve loved all his guests. It’s great to hear how they have all come to be where they are now. Very inspirational. Can’t wait for the next one and hope this is a long series of interviews.

Don’t normally bother with reviews but listened to Ainsley Harriott episode and really enjoyed it! Simon Rimmer seems to be a relaxed host and it felt like an afternoon chat between old friends.
