“Serge's Mandarin lessons are easy to follow. The vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation are pesented at a reasonable pace. The theme-based interactions make the learning enjoyable, relevant, and interesting. You won't be learning "This is a pen." ! :-) The grammar & cultural explanations are very helpful. The accompanying (optional) .pdf documents are also valuable. Tone is everything in Mandarin and something that non-native speakers often struggle with, in addition to the sounds that are not native to your first language. Seeing the print version of the lesson helps to reinforce the correct pronunciation and distinguish between words that sound similar or the same. It's great! Thanks Serge!”Read full review »

None of them could do my job on its own since my memory (at 55) loses power. Melnyk is not as funny, natural and easygoing as the living langauge Chinese...”Read full review »
