One of the tools
I try to study Chinese since 2006. I have grammars, dictionaries, pictionaries, textbooks, chinese pod, a live teacher in Shanghai and Melnyk. None of them could do my job on its own since my memory (at 55) loses power. Melnyk is not as funny, natural and easygoing as the living langauge Chinese Pod since Serge sounds more like an old style severe teacher in a village school with quiet kids - arms crossed. But sometimes -as a student- you need these formal stiff upperlips too. At least I do.
