Lillian Victoria had a traumatic childhood, grew up with a single parent, experienced childhood sexual abuse. She entered the entertainment business but felt this unfulfilling and like her work defined her. She was also in an unhappy marriage and at that point, she decided that something had to change.  She started looking at herself, how she functioned in the world, and instead of focussing on the negatives, she made some real positive changes - and finally she realised the power of gratitude.

Michelle Anhang shares how at 34 years old, she suddenly found herself widowed after her husband died by suicide, leaving her to raise her two young sons alone. The family, having hidden his mental illness, chose to say he died in an accident to avoid dealing with the stigma and shame. Carrying this secret for over 10 years impacted Michelle’s own mental and physical health until she could no longer take the pain.

2015 was a really difficult year for Hayley, as she experienced depression, together with anxiety. Feeling lost, with no direction, and filled with sadness. She couldn’t see a way out. At one point she lost her peripheral vision, which was very scary. She developed a stutter and her short-term memory too. But she learned a lot,  and that knowledge is power. When she realised her son had been born with anxiety, she was determined not to go the medical route - tune in to hear more about her story.
