Sharon is such a skilled, insightful, relatable and likable teacher - I always feel more grounded and lighter in spirit after listening to her podcasts, and walk away with tangible practice guidance.

Every Metta Hour episode on Apple Podcasts posting is repetitiously identified by a useless title, "Episode 200: Sharon speaks with (another person)" and synopsis: "For episode 200 of The Metta Hour Podcast, Sharon speaks with (another person)" Rinse and repeat. It would be...Read full review »

I feel that you offer concrete tools for people in trouble and it would be lovely if you interviewed people who work with addiction problems, for example. They say most homeless people are addicts. Many more are housed, functioning, still suffering. I am amazed at how the counseling folks beat...Read full review »

Chapter 127 with Bethany Saltman about attachment just came to me at the right moment! I am discovering about my attachment with my son who is now 20, and how I experience my love for him. I wish I had been aware of this when he was a baby, but still I am so grateful that I am aware of it now! If...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to the early episodes on repeat during the pandemic and feel like I’ve received a masterclass in meditation practice. Thank you Sharon for all you’ve given the world!

I was given “Faith” a few years ago and I enjoyed Sharon’s warm, honest descriptions of her journey. Then I had a stroke. Over the past four years I’ve relied on this book to help me regain my footing. I listen to Sharon’s guided meditations to help me focus as I meditate - we know it helps to...Read full review »

Sharon is a calming and eerily insightful voice in my ear. Eerie because she is so well versed in the woes and struggles of my mind. Of ALL minds, it seems. She helps to remind me that suffering can indeed be the vehicle through which I can know myself and others better. To forgive myself and...Read full review »

This is so wonderful to listen to. I grew up in Catholic Ireland in the 70’s. Unofficially and somewhat officially I was a second class citizen as a female. After just a few months out of Ireland I “coincidentally” met the Dalai Lama and began my transformation from victim to freedom. Still a...Read full review »

Sharon Salzburg I'm sure doesn't know that she's acted as my personal meditation coach the whole first year I meditated. Her guided meditations continue to be the corner stone of my practice. These interviews are a great way to reinforce all the mindfulness work I've done. ...Read full review »

Sharon is excellent but the introduction is unnecessary and extraneous. Sadly, I think his intro is more for him than for the listener.
