Better without Renner
I enjoy the informative banter of the two hosts, Lance and Tim. Their interest in the story is genuine, and their continued efforts to present the facts and correct their previous mistakes are appreciated. However, I cannot listen to this podcast anymore until focus is removed from James Renner. This attention-hungry blogger has injected himself permanently into the case and intends to stay there, in the middle of the action, no matter the cost. Segments with Renner come across as both pathetic and delusional. He has obviously identified Maura Murray's case as the path to his 15 minutes of fame, sank his teeth in, and refuses to let go. I had to turn off the most recent episode because Renner, guest hosting for the second time in nearly as many episodes, would not stop talking about his own blog. He is clearly more interested in himself and his trolls than the investigation. Renner is a distraction from the case and a detriment to the show. Two stars for the podcast when Renner is not a factor. I will reconsider my review and possibly resubscribe if the hosts decide to stop taking him seriously. Until then, I will get my information elsewhere.Read full review »

I like the podcast - have somethings to share. Thought about emailing you. I wonder how much you get, and wonder if you would actually read what I say. Regardless....the truth is out there :-)

I've always been interested in the Maura Murray disappearance, so I was quite excited for a podcast specifically devoted to this case. Unfortunately, the hosts are simply amateur armchair detectives who do nothing but speculate for 45 minutes each episode. One of the most cringe-worthy things...Read full review »

So far so good! Subject matter is interesting and the easy conversational style is great when you're trying to fall asleep. I hope they keep up the great work!Read full review »
