This weekly podcast keeps me sane. There’s a genuine friendship between Liam and Alison, which creates a nice chemistry on the show. Their different specialisms and skill sets also complement one another well. Please don’t ever stop creating these podcasts.

As always an excellent podcast. Alison and Liam are entertaining and interesting. The budget explanation was the best on the airwaves.

How I love my weekly trip on the Rocket! Have never missed an episode and am always relieved to listen to Liam and Allisons’ views on current issues and also those of my fellow passengers. In this world where every day some news story hits the headlines and I want to shout ‘stop the world I...Read full review »

This shallow pool of talent is a result of Cameron adopting “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion” for candidate selection in 2010., instead of colour blind meritocracy. Allison wrote an article on the consequences saying that Margaret Thatcher would not have been selected today. Look at Kemi and...Read full review »

Great podcast actually holding politicians feet to the fire. I've been a life long conservative until the last election when I couldn't face voting them in again so voted reform. Just read a review from someone who found Velma offensive so I felt compelled to write a review. How can anyone find a lighthearted moment that literally last 5 seconds offensive? If you find this offensive clearly the sanity of PN isn’t for you. Perhaps check out the Guardians offering....Read full review »

Know politicians listen to your podcast. Desperately hope your podcast has inspired and motivated an effective opposition to Keir Starmer and Co. First priority is to publicise the fiction of the ‘black hole’ being a huge, startling, shocking surprise to our Ms Reeves. We desperately need an...Read full review »

Simply. I help to build businesses (one that accounted for >5% of Scottish income tax and now a range of tech start ups) and feel increasingly that I’m in the wrong country (I mean the whole UK), that ignoring what works has become compulsory and debate or common sense is despised. You are a...Read full review »

Thank you Liam for a fantastic episode with Matt. I listen to him on GB News and he is always reasoned and reasonable. He articulates what a lot of us feel but which there is no voice on the mainstream media. I despair the the Tories still do not understand why they have lost so much support....Read full review »

What a great episode with Prof Matthew Goodwin. I would encourage every listener to forward this episode to disillusioned friends. There is so much wisdom and insight on Planet Normal, why does Liam Halligan have to spoil it by patronising “Velma” and constantly interrupting her thoughtful, intelligent contributions. I find it distracting and offensive.

Love the show. A listener since the very beginning. I appreciate you can’t tackle your guests on everything they say. What a blockbuster of an episode! No one else has come anywhere near exposing this level of detail into why the treatment of the sub-postmasters has been so scandalous. You need to get your ‘Robin’ to go public. Individuals in Fujitsu and PO must be held accountable and prosecuted.
