I love the show’s inherent quirkiness. The entertainment value complements, doesn’t retract from, the intensity of the workouts. I especially appreciate the reminders to keep good form, something I desperately need when I get fatigued.

Great podcast, turn up to gym, no need to think about what to do, just press play and you are guided through an awesome workout. Nice voice to listen to and creative way of coaching, especially enjoyed the rowing through the caves story!

John makes an excellent YouTube channel and this is a fantastic complimenting podcast. The workouts here are excellent and range from introductory and beginner types, through 2K and 5K workouts and a six week plan 10K plan. There’s something here for everyone.

This enables me to workout 5-6 days a week consistently and meet my fitness goals. The sessions are well designed and easy to listen to. I appreciate his consistent technique reminders since start to get sloppy as I get tired. His programming he helps me avoid injury.

Up until I found RowAlong I’ve always struggle to remain focussed and interested during rowing workouts. But these podcasts keep me entertained while also letting me think about my technique and why I chose to row in the first place. The Youtube videos are great too!
