All about seasonal food with some cooking tips too. My wife and I are just starting to get into growing our own food, and I’m a keen cook. This podcast is full of information. Love it.

Having followed Tommy Banks’ journey as a contestant chef in the GMB and subsequently having been lucky enough to dine at The Black Swan and Roots I was extremely sceptical of a chef creating a podcast… however I am hooked! The recipes are easy to follow and there’s just the right mix of theory,...Read full review »

If the grub and experience in Oldstead are half as good as the podcast then we’re in for a huge treat.

Latest podcast takes me back to my youth. Will the Purple Parachute be available on line or at least in the new pub?

Such a good podcast. Who knew that a food and hospitality based format would work so well in an audio format. Really feel like I’m in the various kitchens and fields of the restaurant and farm. Keep it up, I’m loving it!

Tommy takes you through some of the characters populating the kitchens at Black Swan and Roots. The podcast doesn’t focus on Tommy, far from it, he is a humble overseer to narrate everything. I found the recent Michelin episode to be a really honest commentary about how difficult it is...Read full review »

Smashed out 5 episodes back to back while out in the garden yesterday on our first proper day of spring up here in Skye. Great listen! The folk down there are an inspiration, great to hear what they are all up to. Looking forward to more!

It’s so uplifting to find a podcast that is full of love for food, local produce, creative cookery, nature and the seasons. There’s such a great sense of peeking behind the scenes and almost being part of the culinary collaborations. It’s brilliant, as is everything the Banks family do - with...Read full review »
