This podcast has a line up of great guests who are experts in their fields, and I enjoy learning about how to assist my teens with various challenges that they may be going through.

Love the content of the show but the host needs a few interviewing pointers. It’s almost like he’s not really listening to his guests and inserts remarks, laughing etc that doesn’t quite fit the context of the discussion . The prompts / questions are poorly thought out and don’t lead to a deep...Read full review »

Thank you so much for putting so much thought into this show. It has helped my family so much. We’ve replayed so many episodes that explained exactly what we were going through at the time with regards to raising our teen. I highly recommend this podcast to parents of teens. Even if you don’t...Read full review »

Every speaker is top notch and totally relatable. The pace of the conversation is just right for me, it allows me to think between statements and reflect on my own experience. I really appreciate this podcast. Thank you!

Sadly, I cringe every time I try to listen. The host’s speaking style is too disturbing and distracting for me. It sounds like he has a fluency disorder and will also interrupt the speaker with poorly timed loud chuckles in response. The audio quality sounds like the host is lying on his couch...Read full review »

Love the podcast and you tackle great issues. From a place of gratitude and constructive feedback, I find all your “ahs” and “mmm’s” as the guest is speaking to be quite distracting. Some of your comments are valuable and Of course elucidating followup questions are super valuable. But the...Read full review »

The guests and topics are so important and I’m trying so hard to like this podcast but I feel that it falls short with every single episode. The host’s interview style and lack of follow through on questions leaves me wondering why the expectations are set so high at the beginning of the episode...Read full review »

Listened to one of your latest episodes with Ruth Gotian where you discussed about how teens can find their passion and develop the right mindset for success. It was really insightful. I really love that the podcast is centered around parenting, particularly, teenagers.

With podcasts I need to enjoy listening to the hosts voice before I can even get into digesting the content. Andy’s breathless, halting delivery is so distracting it actually makes me anxious. I would strongly recommend that if he wants to reach a wider audience he bring in a new host and he...Read full review »

I find this podcast series very difficult to listen to, in spite of the excellent topics and guests invited to speak. The host’s interview style comes across as passive and unengaged, e.g. frequent interjections of long, drawn out “Ahhhhh’s” in a tone that makes the interviewer sound half asleep...Read full review »

The episode w Natalie is a must listen! Andy and Natalie (the guest) speak about a topic that’s crazy important - the gap in our current education system!!

Everyone of us went to middle school. Most probably remember it to be a very awkward time, I know I did. I was lucky enough to stumble across a podcast that talked about exactly that. This podcast was produced by Talking to Teens and the episode was called “Growing Apart in Middle School,” as...Read full review »

Good podcast on how to resolve issues with your teens. Unfortunately you don’t get to listen to the entire episode, you have to subscribe first, for 5 us dollars a month. That’s disappointing

Discovered this podcast a few weeks ago and it has become my morning run buddy. Thank you for the amazing line up of guests and their practical advice. A must-listen for every parent of teens, and the earlier you start the better. Forewarned is forearmed 😉

What great content! I wish I heard about this years ago. I sent this around to my private podcast club, and all the parents loved it so far. Keep up the great work!

Andy, I really resonated with your episode with Chris Farrell on ReThinking $ for Children and Teens. It’s so important for kids to explore ways they can be social change agents rather than mere consumers of ever more stuff. I particularly liked the way the two of you defined PLAY, not just as...Read full review »

Stumbled upon this podcast after a friend who is a teacher shared an episode with me. I’m not even a parent myself but the guests are awesome and the information always gets me thinking about my own teen years and the world of teenagers. Lots of intriguing content! When Andy introduces the guests, he sounds like a giddy school girl and gushes... In general, he sounds like is cognitively disabled or like a surfer who’s smoked way too much reefer over the years. It’s a shame because the guests are often good, but Andy ruins the show.
frissjan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/02/20
The information is great but the frequency of the musical breaks really disrupts the flow of the podcast. Also often the guests’ audio quality is low.
BeckyRae42 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/24/20
I like Andy‘s voice and what he and his guest are saying but it sounds like he’s chewing gum- some sort of smacking sound. I’m wearing headphones of course so it’s right in my ear which is distracting and...kind of gross.
