I can truly say your words, your work (not just content) has mended personal relationships and friendships alike. I absolutely love the transparency and rawness of all of your platforms. “I love John’s wisdom and unfiltered raw real shares and experience. I don’t follow everyone but I enjoy his podcast shares and being on his email list. Very relevant to the conscious dating people and gives real world advice many don’t talk about. .”

“This podcast should be called “I’m just a guy… talking about myself… in a very unplanned manner… with nothing much to say.” The titles rarely align with anything he says…? And his advice …beyond generic. I kept listening for a while, trying to determine what it is that I’m missing, but nope. Not...”Read full review »

“These episodes always leave me feeling like I’ve grown into a deeper and safer version of myself. It’s so easy to live neck up in relationships, and John really reminds me that as important as educating ourselves is, a healthy relationship starts in feeling safe first. Thank you so much for this...”Read full review »

“I discovered John on my route to inner peace
Throughout his podcast he relates topics back to our normal lives and connections in order to make impact

“New follower/listener here but I love listening to them discuss all the topics! Fun to hear from the men’s perspective, especially since I have a husband who does not express himself ever! Learning a lot through these two! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Thanks John! Divorced about 3 years, have 3 girls, and was devastated. This podcast has helped me a lot. I fell off for a while and have tuned back in as I’m 4 years out from a separation/divorce and in a funk. Thanks again for what you do!”

“I love John’s honest, direct and transparent way of talking. I love it when people get to the point without talking on and on about irrelevant things and John does that, with heart. I have sent so many episodes to friends of mine. This is gold!”

“Great info. Was recommended by a friend after finding out my ex buddy was cheating with my spouse. Have learned a lot about myself and how to improve myself as I go through a divorce. Trying to act mature with a petty selfish semi-narc. Hoping to find myself again and come out of this stronger...”Read full review »

“There’s always something to learn or have reenforced with each episode. John is great by himself, even better with a guest. He keeps it real in all the ways. A good example to not worry about perfection, just bring quality information that is helpful. I feel bad singling out a guest, because they...”Read full review »

“Not loving the therapy sessions. Seems like trying to replicate Esther Perel’s sessions on her podcast. Getting to far away from angry therapist “therapy in a shot glass” that we all love. These therapy sessions are too long without anything to enlightening in them.”

“Love when he has short episodes that get right to the point. Like the chapters in his books. Also worth playing a drinking game by taking a shot every time he says “flow state” or “drop into your body” or “hugging canyons”. You’ll be tipsy in 15 minutes! :)”

“John has played a pivotal role in my healing journey (which started from rock bottom in December 2021). I was recommended “It’s not me, it’s you,” and then found the podcast after. The top three reasons I love this podcast:
1. He is unapologetically himself—coffee sipping and all. He also talks...”Read full review »

“There is clear care and effort in messages that he produces. Yet a lot of the audio production needs desperate work. A few afternoons learning to use audacity or another audio editing platform would fix a lot of the small things. A pop filter, and an inexpensive microphone would fix the other.”
