I love the content, but now episodes bare more than a day late.

Does Charlotte Howard have anything to say about rising oil prices, oil production, increasing reliance on oil and natural gas as coal and nuclear plants are retired? How does lower capacity meet with ending gasoline vehicle production in the next decade? Does your energy corespondent have...Read full review »

I find the discussions, both for the “Checks and Balances” episode and all the other episodes, but the lack of conservative voices in the discussions is very noticeable. For instance, in this episode there was no consideration of the economic impact of any of the proposed increases of government...Read full review »

Just finished the podcast on “how the tax code should be changed” to pay for the two spending bills being debated. Wow. I thought I would write a lengthy response but decided against that idea. The views of the panelists were so extreme that I finally realized you can’t respond to crazy.

I look forward to each one, particularly Friday for Checks and Balance! Such a wonderful podcast and a must listen.

The most insightful, objective, and layered news coverage of current global issues, with interesting, less covered stories included, as well. Jason Palmer has the best voice in news, the best voice in podcasting.

so pathetic to be the tool of the propaganda.

The Economist again stands up there with deeper and broader analysis than others.

Love the podcast in general. I thought the Aukus episode missed critical aspects of the issue. No mention at any stage of the UK’s role (however minimal) in the alliance. No mention of the french / UK / post Brexit European implications.

I m especially addicted to Babbage, which provides very helpful and altogether optimistic insights in the power of technology and science to harness today s wold challenges

You can listen to it everyday and get updates about our world. Unlike twitter for quick info, those updates front the economist podcast give you thorough info you should know.

I’ve been a listener since June 2021. I am enjoying all the episodes and have recommended Economist Radio podcast to a lot of my friends.

Every day this podcast is interesting and relevant. I like that there is a segment at the end of every daily episode that is something completely different from the news. Something about art, or a custom from different countries

I listen to The Economist podcasts driving long distance and on my stationary bike at the gym. Each episode, be it Babbage, The Economist Asks or Editor’s Picks, are fascinating, insightful and instructive, not to mention beautifully presented with lots of humour. Warning: you need to fact check everything you hear on this podcast. There is such a heavy bias, most reports are full of lies and innuendo. Presents a hard left-leaning bias peddled to Americans with British accents combined with the occasional American socialist voice. Gets most issues WRONG,...Read full review »

A fairly vomit inducing “leader” narrated by an equally pompous voice. There are so many fallacies within the article it’s hard to know where to begin. Firstly the obsessive focus on the Middle East, when women’s rights are hardly any better in Latin America. I guess it would be harder to make...Read full review »

It was a Good podcast when they discussed the ECONOMY. The past President really screwed up this country’s media and reporting. Over the years I’ve witnessed this publication move away more from what I enjoy and promoted about it, in to just placating to my political side. I canceled my print and...Read full review »

It is incredible that you put out that Robin de Angelo interview without more commentary on the fundamental errors in her theory. Also, during the last year, you have tended to repeat as gospel truth that police disproportionally kills blacks as a result of racism. This is a quite controversial...Read full review »

The podcast has the veneer of well researched journalism - unless you actually know about an issue in depth. In that case you realize how right wing the Economist actually is especially on foreign issues where the Brits still seem to think they rule the world.

My son put me on to this podcast. I figured if he enjoyed it, I’d give it a try. It’s a great way to get another point of view or compound your opinion with data and facts. Not too long, so can be listened to on your morning walk, run or daily commute.

Insightful, fast-moving and yet deep in its coverage. The Economist Podcast covers the topics that matter. Also pretty balanced, though it does tilt a bit left of center (I’d love to see it rebalanced a bit closer to center).
