Propaganda
Not recommended. I started reading The Economist in my youth, and over time, it became apparent that they have a distinct agenda. They manipulate their analysis by selectively omitting information and trivializing certain aspects. Despite their polished writing, it frequently reflects a subtle form of propaganda.

Thanks to this podcast, my listening skill of English have gone up. But it's too fast for me to catch the whole texts, so I wish I can get a transcript of them by way of iTunes.Read full review »

The content is pretty basic. The news is not news at all. Seems like it is targeted to a braindead audience. One of the episodes is cut off altogether.

I found the 2007 previews to be lucid and succinct, providing a clear analysis and opinion. Though I found the presentations somewhat stiff and stilted, I feel that erudite opinions sound better that way, and seem more authentic than they would with a slicker, Madison Avenue-type patter.
