Well reported and really interesting insight into the details of this case. It’s a really sad story with an innocent child at the centre of it all. I’m impressed with the reporting and summary of court transcripts. It’s not down to the journalists that the podcast episodes have been a bit...Read full review »

Good review of the court proceedings. Very easy to follow thanks to the two presenters. Above all, it is the poor baby I feel sorry for.

Listening to the Constance Marten and Mark Gordon series has given me a new perspective on why trials aren't televised in the UK. The way the prosecutors handle the people on trial is frankly disgusting—it's like a theatre to them. Regardless of fault or preventability, the fact remains:...Read full review »

I enjoy the content but the hit but miss with the uploads drives me mad. Make an effort to produce something

I’ve been listening to each episode and it’s such a contentious subject…….I feel extremely sad for Constance.

I think it would be a good idea to have a discussion after the end of proceedings regarding the conduct of the trial, and an analysis of the evidence etc. Prof PeterFleming has in my opinion (retired lawyer) harmed his professional standing by being so adamantly partial to the defendants . Most I...Read full review »

Absolutely love the podcast and the work you’ve done. I do find the format quite hard to follow and think making each case a season would help. Such interesting and almost unbelievable cases.

There must be evidence & references to the couple’s drug abuse but it’s not being reported upon. Furthermore, the male host keeps speaking in incorrect English. You’re meant to be reporting on a legal case.

This is such a thought provoking trial and so well reported. I have watched some of the trial from the public gallery so I know how meticulously they are reporting it. It raises many questions about the Family Courts and the state. And what the jury is and isn’t allowed to know. It has changed my...Read full review »

A very hard podcast to listen to but very well presented and interesting. Difficult to believe that this couple firmly believed they were giving baby Victoria the best of care.

Way to many adverts for a short podcast
RenovatedInk via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/06/24
The other series have been detailed with much longer episodes. The MG/CM episodes are very sporadic and incredibly short with very little detail. A real disappointment.

Interesting to have an insight into courtroom proceedings but the hosts of the pod are sometimes grating. The male host always starting every segue with ‘Yes, that’s right Caroline’ comes across as condescending and lazy.

Being a nurse, it was the Lucy Letby trial that brought me to this Podcast. I’ve been an avid listener ever since. I’ve learned so much about the British justice system. The quality of reporting is excellent- factual but truly compassionate, yet still maintaining impartiality until after...Read full review »

But ….. the perpetrators make out they have a condition. The male acted mute … ! More fool the British justice system .

I get it, everyone needs to make a living but the amount of ads in this podcast now, given the subject matter, is nothing less than crass. The two presenters are clearly great and intelligent reporters but the ads don’t even cut in at the right times and there’s far too many.

I've listened since Lucy Letby's trial and am totally hooked. This podcast is a fantastic way of getting all of the information and answers to the questions of what happens in a court case. The content is great and well handled but I hate the sound effects when sending messages. Given that most people have their phones on silent, and barely anyone has they annoying keyboard sound on, do they really think we need to hear it on a podcast. They’re sending messages, we get it.

I usually enjoy this podcast but the actor voicing Mr Little is insufferable! He sounds nothing like a crown prosecutor would.

I thought this podcast was very interesting and very thorough. The Brinna Ghey podcast is the first one I’ve listened to and I must say I struggled slightly throughout as i felt it was told in such a way to make people feel sorry for the 2 people convicted. I understand the journalists need to...Read full review »

One of my favourite podcasts. Such sad court cases which should never happen but so interesting how the courts work.love how the ladies break it down for us to understand it all. I’m hooked to every episode. Can’t wait for series 4

Each episode is dominated by ads which do take up a lot of time. The use of sound effects can be punishing at times expecially when hosts are reading texts out. Every single piece of Daily Mail scum attempting to profiteer from Brianna Ghey’s death can rot in hell
Andthatisthat via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 12/21/23
For the last five years, the The Daily Mail has run countless transphobic articles, whipping up transphobia, dehumanising and degrading an at risk portion of the population which makes up just 0.2% of the general population (UK census data). And now they want to profit off the murder of Brianna...Read full review »

Great info on the case and i don’t mind some of the repetitive parts but sometimes there’s only 8 minutes of new details and/or insights - the ads feel more frequent than story w the addition of such a long intro for each ep. i feel like i’m skipping 75% of the episode.

Very interesting case and great details - but please tone down the clickety clack and long beeping sounds. So distracting when I'm trying to concentrate on the narration and witness accounts, some of which are already hard to understand due to the strong accent. ThankyouRead full review »

I first started listening to the trial of Lucy Letby. And was hooked. It’s informative, it’s real, it’s heartbreaking it’s addictive. They do an amazing job. I’ve followed all of these cases by these talented journalists. But this has so far been the most harrowing. It’s is terrifyingly close to the depravity of the horrific Jamie Bulger killing - which as a mother, I still have fears and dread about regularly. My opinion, but why are we still...Read full review »

But the tone of the series and the ad in the Mail were was distasteful I feel like I’d need a good shower and a scrub down if I continued to listen. Life is too short to feel this grubby.

What happened to that child is very sad, but insisting on calling him “her” is offensive to all biological girls and women and everything that we have had to and still go through.
petamap via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/28/23
Exploiting a child’s murder for money is sick. Everyone has to be careful not to comment on this active case and this podcast crosses the line.
