I found Kat’s podcast while searching for a way to understand and move through a toxic work situation I was experiencing a couple seasons ago. For context, I’m a GenXer and had been seeing a very expensive therapist at the time. My therapist was helpful, but this topic was too complex and I was...Read full review »

I really wanted to like this but the upspeak was distracting, and the hosts’ relative newness as therapists made the content pretty unremarkable.

No matter where you are on your mental health journey, this podcast is for you. Kat is relatable, funny, and passionate about what she does. She brings in great guests, but even her solo episodes are so insightful. Give this a listen! You won’t regret it.

I’m a weekly listener of 4 months! I was introduced to you need therapy through Amy Brown’s podcast. I really enjoyed hearing Amy and Kat chat like they were some of my girlfriends having coffee in my kitchen, so when I heard Kat mention her own podcast, I was eager to give it a listen. I love Kat’s podcast. Her way of explaining things helps me with a lot of different topics. Even when (by reading the title of an episode) I don’t think the episode will apply to me, I’ll still find a nugget or two of something that helps out. Love her podcast! Have for years!

I really appreciate the podcast, but there are a few things that bother me. I don’t like when you swear - you don’t do it often, but when you do, it really turns me off. Also, the sound on the podcast is a problem sometimes. Your part is fine, but then I can barely hear your guests, even if I...Read full review »
