Cystic Fibrosis affects around 100,000 people in the world.  Jess is a Norland Nanny who nannied for 12 years before setting off as a blogger on a travelling adventure - little did she know at the time what she would face once her precious baby was born and they received the results of the newborn heel prick test. Jess talks to us about how it felt to receive the news that her baby Ottilie had Cystic Fibrosis. She explains what this meant, from diagnosis to medication, the CF team, support for CF families and life with CF at home.   (We recorded this podcast with Jess in March – now it is August, the weather has certainly got better!)  Links:  Instagram - @bespokefamily / Facebook - @bespokefamily  @thelittledreameruk @cftrustuk  Cystic Fibrosis Trust   Our blogs: Read them here  Bespoke Family 1:1 Parent Consultations: https://www.bespokefamily.co.uk/parent-consultations   ‘Your Guide to...’ (our downloadable webinars) - get 25% off any guide with the code ‘PODCAST’  Hosted on Acast.
