“As a convert, I felt like I would always be behind not having grown up with sacred chant like this. I compared it to how someone is better able to learn a foreign language if they start learning as a child. A few weeks ago I begged Mary to help me learn her antiphons and have been fruitlessly trying to teach myself with zero musical background.
