“The sound quality throught is abysmal, as if recorded on the cellphone of someone in the audience. Even worse, if you download via the GET ALL option, the track sequence gets screwed up and there doesn't seem to be a way to reorder them. As far as I know, most of the readers aren't professional actors, and it shows. The quality of the readings varys widely. For a more coherent and sonically superior presentation I recommend the unabridged Lesser recording on Naxos, though it is rather expensive.”
