“I would like to say first that the people interviewed are most brave. This cannot be easy. It was not long ago really. Also, much condolences & hope to those grieving the loss of their family & friends, in this horrible tragedy. I think the interviews in this podcast & the honest look at the RCMP was covered better than any other I have listened to.
PS, I have been to TINY twins like this myself in Nova Scotia on Isle Madame... Though there were terrible mistakes made by the RCMP; though they missed many warning signs; I can tell you when it’s happening, there is no way A/ they could even imagine what was happening was & B/ were def not prepared for this specific Suspects level of Skill in taking out his obviously well thought out plan.
Still if there was negligence casing death or suffering by officers, or any other human involved they should obviously be held accountable.
The problem is we are told too hold “those in positions of power or aka a police officer, to higher lawful standards”—& when something this tragic happens we forget their human beings, outside of their positions and training.
(Again and last, I am not against holding police accountable to at LEAST TELL THE TRUTH no matter how hard it is for families to hear—at least Tell the families!❤️)
Last, my heart goes out to all of Nova Scotia and again al families who lost loved ones including rcmp family members. ❤️☮️”
