Corps of Discovery on “15 minute History”
I just listened to the two episodes on “15 Minute History “ of one of the most important and thrilling events in this young country’s history: the Corps of Discovery. Joe Parker in this initial and exceptionally well done episode accurately summarized the expedition and Jon Streeter’s thoughtful questions in the second episode and their scholarly dialogue added depth, understanding, awe, and excitement to this formative and foundational event in our US history. Well done, men. Keep up the good work because we need to hear more from you to help us better understand ourselves, our place in the world, and to learn of the exceptional people who have helped make this great nation. I love this podcast and I’ve gained historical knowledge in each 15 minutes episode that I wouldn’t manage to absorb otherwise. Thank you both so much for enriching my life this way.
